Even the best product is only as good as its installation. That’s why we offer certified training programs that empower professionals to install our solutions with confidence, precision, and long-term impact.
Strengthening Skills, Ensuring Quality
With proper installation, our products can operate maintenance-free for decades, ensuring the safe and reliable transmission and distribution of electrical energy. This also protects our customers: warranty claims can only be made if our products are installed by certified cable installers or technicians.
Global. Local. Reliable.
Our own training hubs, along with those operated by certified partners, are located worldwide—always near our customers and project partners. These hubs are where installers work and receive the theoretical and practical knowledge, they need to become certified specialists.
Locations of own PFISTERER training hubs: Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Poland, Saudi Arabia, China, United States.
Our Training Offerings
We offer a variety of predefined training courses for high-voltage products. These sessions are conducted at PFISTERER hubs worldwide and cover the entire installation process, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on skills.
No less important are our training programs for medium voltage products. Distribution networks are extensive and often subject to modifications such as expansions and repairs. The increasing integration of renewable energy sources into these networks has further amplified this dynamic. To prevent power outages, stability is essential—and stability can only be achieved when proper operation is ensured. In other words, when all components are correctly connected.
Additional Training Options
Aside from the predefined training programs, we also offer customized courses upon request—tailored to individual needs.
On-site training at installation locations or customer facilities is also available for experienced cable jointers.
Our Certification Cycle
PFISTERER ensures product quality and safety through a certification cycle spanning twelve years.
Our goal is to ensure that participants in our training programs stay consistently up to date with the latest technologies and best practices. To achieve this, we have established a structured twelve-year certification process.
Every three years, participants are required to complete the next step in the cycle to maintain their qualification status. The full cycle includes:
1. Foundational Training—an in-person training conducted at a designated training hub.
2. First Renewal—certification renewal based on the participant’s installation history since completing the foundational training.
3. Refresher ("Lite") Training—an on-the-job or in-house training consisting of both theoretical and practical updates.
4. Second Renewal—another approval phase following the refresher training.
Our training program primarily targets cable jointers, installers, engineers, and technicians. These professionals already have substantial expertise—knowledge that we aim to enhance. With us, they acquire the installation know-how that ensures our cable accessories, and the cables system work together maintenance free for decades.
Please contact your local PFISTERER sales representative or submit a request online.
Training sessions are conducted either in English or the local language of the training hub. If participants do not speak these languages, they are welcome to bring an interpreter.
Please ensure all health and safety requirements are met. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be provided. For on-site training, relevant materials and tools should be made available.
