Installation of a reliable and maintenance-free connection system for the transformer station and switchgear at the Q7 offshore wind farm, 23 km off the coast of the Netherlands.

The solution

The CONNEX plug-in connection system of up to 170 kV from PFISTERER, specifically developed for offshore use. The system is resistant to salt water and maintenance-free.
