Strengthening Skills, Ensuring Quality

With proper installation, our products can operate maintenance-free for decades, ensuring the safe and reliable transmission and distribution of electrical energy. This also protects our customers: warranty claims can only be made if our products are installed by certified cable installers or technicians.

Global. Local. Reliable.

Our own training hubs, along with those operated by certified partners, are located worldwide—always near our customers and project partners. These hubs are where installers work and receive the theoretical and practical knowledge, they need to become certified specialists.

Locations of own PFISTERER training hubs: Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Poland, Saudi Arabia, China, United States.

Our Training Offerings

We offer a variety of predefined training courses for high-voltage products. These sessions are conducted at PFISTERER hubs worldwide and cover the entire installation process, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on skills.

No less important are our training programs for medium voltage products. Distribution networks are extensive and often subject to modifications such as expansions and repairs. The increasing integration of renewable energy sources into these networks has further amplified this dynamic. To prevent power outages, stability is essential—and stability can only be achieved when proper operation is ensured. In other words, when all components are correctly connected.

Our Certification Cycle

PFISTERER ensures product quality and safety through a certification cycle spanning twelve years.

Our goal is to ensure that participants in our training programs stay consistently up to date with the latest technologies and best practices. To achieve this, we have established a structured twelve-year certification process.

Every three years, participants are required to complete the next step in the cycle to maintain their qualification status. The full cycle includes:

Training cycle

1.    Foundational Training—an in-person training conducted at a designated training hub.
2.    First Renewal—certification renewal based on the participant’s installation history since completing the foundational training.
3.    Refresher ("Lite") Training—an on-the-job or in-house training consisting of both theoretical and practical updates.
4.    Second Renewal—another approval phase following the refresher training.
